Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of college.
CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials: Welder Trade
Certification, 3rd Period Apprentice
Experience: 3 years to less than 5
years
Languages: Speak, Read and Write
English
Major Work Area: New Fabrication
Area of Specialization: Custom
Fabrication
Welding Techniques: Oxy-acetylene
welding (OAW), Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW),
Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc
welding (GMAW) (MIG), Flux core arc welding (FCAW),
Plasma arc welding (PAW)
Type of Machine Experience: Gas and
arc welding machines
Materials: Stainless steel, Steel,
Iron and heavy metals, Aluminum alloys
Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30
lbs)
Specific Skills: Interpret welding process
specifications, Operator manual or semi-automatic
flame-cutting equipment, Operate brakes, shears and
other metal shaping, straightening and bending
machines, Operate drill presses, Operator hoisting
and lifting equipment, Operate previously setup
welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts
and products
Additional Skills: Read and
interpret welding blueprints, drawings
specifications, manuals and processes, Examine welds
and ensure that they meet standards and/or
specifications, Layout patterns
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots,
Welding helmet
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Hand-eye
coordination, Standing for extended periods
Transportation/Travel Information: Own

Overview
We are
currently looking for experienced Business
Development Specialists to represent the entire
Pro-Fab Group of companies, products and services.
You will work and develop new customer relationships
for steel fabrication needs, within the oil and gas
industry, industrial customers, custom manufacturers
by providing milling, machining, welding, laser
steel cutting, wet coat and powder painting, and
large volume production fabricators.
The

It is
important that the successful candidate possesses

- Able to deliver results in a timely fashion

Position
- Make regular sales calls to develop new
customer relationships
- Ability to clearly understand customer needs
and assess sales opportunities within each
account
- Effectively present PFG products and
services
- Create and present technical sales proposals
to sell across all levels within the
organization
- Create and implement a strong sales and
market opportunity plan for each account
- Successfully manage customer requirements in
conjunction with Pro-Fab Group manufacturing
capabilities
- Be able to provide quotations and complete
sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service to all
accounts within your territory
- Stay current of competitor’s products and
offerings in the marketplace
- Identify competitive threats inside each
account; be proactive to secure further business
- Plan customer calls while minimizing travel
expenses.
- Responsible for achieving goals for revenue
and gross profit
- Respond promptly to all RFI’s, RFP’s, and
site visit requests
- Provide regular feedback to the General
Manager on customer product requirements
- Work with the General Manager: set and meet
daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals and
keep updated weekly for the General Manager to
review
Qualifications
- University degree is an asset or a minimum
of 2 years of industry experience
- Proven successful business development track
record
- Goal oriented, self directed, and self
motivated
- Effective time management and organizational
skills
- Must have excellent written and verbal
communication skills
- Strong industry contacts and affiliations is
an asset
- Working knowledge of MS office suite
The

Location
These
positions can be home office based located across
Canada and the U.S.
Regular
travel required.
Compensation
Above
average remuneration packages; high commission or
